UAE Golden Visa

1. Investors in Public Investments

To qualify, the applicant must:

• Have a legally recognized business idea or plan in the UAE

• Submit one of the following:

  • A letter from a UAE-approved investment fund showing a deposit of AED 2 million

  • A valid commercial or industrial license with an incorporation contract, confirming at least AED 2 million in investor capital

  • Proof of ownership of company shares worth AED 2 million (not financed by a loan)

  • A letter from the Federal Tax Authority confirming annual tax payments of no less than AED 250,000

2. Real Estate Investors

Applicants must:

• Provide a letter from the Real Estate Registration Department confirming ownership of property worth at least AED 2 million (property must not be under mortgage)

• Provide proof of UAE residence (homeownership or rental agreement)

3. Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs must provide:

• A letter from a UAE auditor confirming a project value of at least AED 500,000

• Approval from relevant emirate authorities stating the project is innovative or future-focused

• Letter of endorsement from a UAE-accredited business incubator

• Valid passport and UAE health insurance (minimum one-year validity, extendable)

• Proof of residence (owned or rented housing)

Note: In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, applications must be submitted via approved business incubators (e.g., AREA 2071 in Dubai, HUB71 in Abu Dhabi).

4. Exceptional Talents

Includes:

• Doctors & Scientists: Must hold a valid UAE license and present a recommendation from the Emirates Scientists Council or equivalent authority

• Artists & Creatives: Require approval from the emirate’s Department of Culture and Arts

• Inventors: Must present a letter of recommendation from the UAE Ministry of Economy

• Executives: Must hold a university degree, have a minimum of 5 years of experience, earn at least AED 50,000/month, and present a valid employment contract

All applicants in this category must also submit:

• Valid passport

• Health insurance valid for at least one year

5. Specialized Talent in Science & Sports

Eligible applicants include:

• Professionals in specialized scientific disciplines approved by UAE authorities

• Athletes endorsed by the General Sports Authority or relevant sports council

Required documents:

• Certified credentials in the relevant field

• Valid passport and health insurance

6. PhD Holders & Engineering/Science Specialists

Requirements:

• Certified PhD or specialized degree from the Ministry of Education in a priority field (e.g., AI, biotechnology, software engineering)

• Valid employment contract in a relevant field

• Valid passport and health insurance

7. Outstanding Students

High School Graduates:

• Must present a letter from the Ministry of Education

• Eligible for a 5-year visa, extendable if enrolled in long-duration programs (e.g., medicine)

• May sponsor parents and siblings, subject to Federal Authority guidelines

University Students:

• Must have a GPA of 3.8 or above

• Eligible for a 10-year visa

• Can sponsor family members if financially capable
